The Sound of James Bond

For over six decades, the numbers 007 have stood for British coolness, cult status and thrills. Strong women, fast cars, spectacular stunts and breathtaking car chases characterise the recipe for success of James Bond, who saved the world from the most dangerous villains in 25 films – always with style, charm and a shaken, never stirred martini. 

Just as distinctive as the agent himself is the soundtrack that has accompanied Bond since the beginning: first and foremost the legendary theme tune and, of course, the unforgettable title songs and soundtracks – by John Barry, David Arnold and Hans Zimmer, among others. The biggest stars in music history have shaped the catalogue of iconic Bond songs, including Shirley Bassey, Louis Armstrong, Nancy Sinatra, Tina Turner, Tom Jones and Adele. Once again, a large symphony orchestra, a band and the powerful soloists Tertia Botha and Dennis LeGree will present the legendary soundtracks "Goldfinger", "From Russia With Love", "GoldenEye", "Skyfall", "No Time To Die" and many more live in the concert hall. Dietmar Wunder, the German voice of Daniel Craig, will host the evening.
